Johnston says that [John] Bull will not be penalised for taking a job with the casualty survey, but the Central Medical War Committee will have the final say on allowing him to do the work or letting him go on to house jobs afterwards. As Sector 10 of the Emergency Hospital Scheme has already given Reeve and Neville to Grant, and McKeown and Bull to SZ, Johnston believes he has done more than enough in supplying research assistants.
