Stradling, Reginald Edward recipient
SZ sets out the history of the [OEMU's] relationship and arrangements with the Department of Human Anatomy and the MOHS. SZ insists that the work being relevant to other ministries is not a new state of affairs and assures Stradling that while he does not watch the work, he does go over every paper in detail and discusses results with Yates, Burns, Douglas, Emmens, and Krohn. The [OEMU] is unique in Britain and is of use to the war effort. However, the work will cease when the war ends, which SZ hopes will be by the end of 1944. He hopes he, Stradling, and Clark can settle the matter without breaking up the unit.
