Clark, and Veale, think it a good idea to have a provisional programme for the winding up of the [OEMU]. Veale is anxious that the area the [OEMU] occupies can be made available at short notice, and the hut will be required for other purposes. The [OEMU's] work has become cumbersome to oversee and Clark is anxious to divest himself of responsibility. Ideally Clark would like [OEMU] work in the hut to be terminated by March 1945. Any further investigations of a similar nature can be continued elsewhere. SZ would prefer a wind up date of June 1945 to finalise arrangements. Clark is prepared to give that extension.
