SZ hopes that Cockcroft will be able to steer discussion of the international science institute in the desired direction at the next ACSP meeting. Dr Stikker is very keen on the project. If Britain changes its mind about it, the institute could well end up in Britain and be linked to the National Physical Laboratory.
