Zuckerman, Solly, 1904-1993 recipient
Provides a background on the decision to give certain schemes a full two-thirds pension after twenty years' service. Reasons are given for not being able to minimise this period and in any case legislation would be needed. Transferability of pension rights and why this is not an option is discussed. Johnston points out why share options given to directora and senior executives of companies are not really liked by industry, their implications for taxation are also laid down.
