Aeroplanes -- Noise
Zuckerman, Solly, 1904-1993 recipient
Lewis reminds SZ of her work during the war on shelter construction. She asks if SZ has worked on ways to cut aeroplane noise and vibrations from breaking the sound barrier. She discusses her findings. Lewis had been giving a lot of her time to the Foulness airport and sea port project. She wishes for the Dutch to participate in the development of the port and discusses her views on the Common Market.
