SZ encloses a letter he intends sending to Colin Coote [SZ/CSA/137/5]. The article published under the Air Commodore Donaldson's name included what SZ believes to be "libellous reflections" on him. "The account he has given could not be more cock-eyed." Reference was made at a Chiefs of Staff meeting to the passage referring to Mountbatten being refused Field Marshal's baton; surely an apocryphal incident.
