SZ is sorry that he will not see Walton on his way back to Washington. SZ hopes Walton "will find the world at least liveable in, even if different in a major way. The pattern one sees in a kaleidoscope can never be the same when the biggest and more [sic] colourful bead has been removed." [presumably referring to the assassination of President Kennedy].
