Scope and content

Refers to a supplementary title which was given to SZ in order for him to advise the Minister of Technology. This is to be modified to Scientific Adviser. SZ's responsibilities as Chief Scientific Adviser in the Ministry of Defence are to take priority. The implementation of SZ's new responsibilities are explained. SZ is to copy to Sir Burke Trend and Helsby all memoranda which he sends to the Prime Minister or other Ministers.
