Describes aerial bombing trials on military vehicles. Mentions a cameraman who is keen to be attached to the Operational Research Section for operational cinematography of scientific value. Kendrew explains the difficulty in obtaining the required bombing aircraft from which to photograph aerial bombing. Difficulties in operational research are illustrated by the return of de Teissier to Cairo just when he and Powell had managed to begin real operational research with the Tac/R plotting scheme.
