Scope and content

Concerns SZ and Bernal's visit to the Middle East for which they expected to leave on 20/12/42. They discuss ways in which they could assist the War Office Operational Research Group. Ellis asks them to investigate the RAF's methods of co-operation used in a recent battle, weight of bombardment figures, and all aspects of mine fields. It was agreed that Ellis should send Bernal a copy of the revised Johnson programme. Bernal and SZ ask to study the recent records of the Middle East campaign, as well as details of weapons being used.
