Thomson had just received negatives and photographs from Kendrew [on Tripoli incidents]. He was busy organising them for SZ. He mentions that Radford had turned up at the Operational Research Section "and he doesn't pull too well with the Lt. Col Welch". Radford and Angles had been working on bombing. Thomson asks if SZ would be coming out, as was requested by Angles. Thomson has the chance of returning to Tripoli and of joining the 8th Army. He will in the meantime continue with the [POW] casualty survey for Welch and then work on the street survey of Tripoli.
