The material refers chiefly to bomb strikes but also includes eight hand-drawn plans of what appears to be a coastal defence battery, and an MS text ‘Proposed Questions for Prisoner interrogation’ briefing interrogators of German prisoners of war to seek information on: German artillery defences against attempts at sea-borne landings; the "demoralising effect" of bombardment of military installations; stocks of ammunition available to German forces; and the date at which German guns were put out of action by allied bombing operations.
