Requests a signal be sent to [Harris] re-iterating the need to concentrate bomber attacks on towns specified in a previous directive. Bomber Command recently authorised an attack on Magdeburg, a town which does not appear on the list of priority targets and ignored many nearby targets such as Leipzig, which are specified. With the limited time available before Overlord Bottomley feels it is imperative to comply with previous instructions.
