Scope and content

SZ believes the broad issues which the BBSU is to investigate should be defined immediately, and stresses the need for close liaisons with the intelligence services as most of the information needed will come from captured enemy documents and personnel. The BAU is already working closely with G2 and A2 on these matters, although the BBRM's current enquiries are not known. SZ comments that a detailed interrogation of Dorpmüller, head of the German Transport Ministry, is already underway. An immediate step should be to collate all records collected by British and American intelligence bodies.
