Scope and content

Dewdney has met Dr Hulme, Blackett's successor at DNOR, and they both agreed that the atomic bomb has altered the BBSU's context. If SZ talks to Bernal about the necessary changes, Hulme would like to attend. The Deputy Chiefs of Staff are recommending that the Tizard Committee be recalled to revise its paper on the future of war in the light of the atom bomb, and Dewdney feels that the BBSU should be contributing something to new theories rather than old.
