Tedder, Arthur William, recipient
SZ explains the delay in the establishment of the BAU but he hopes it will be up and running within a week or two. He has promised General Fickle [sic] his utmost co-operation. SZ also intends drafting some notes on a wider bombing survey. He asks Tedder to ensure that any enquiries made of the SNCF are made through the BAU rather than separate enquiries being made by SHAEF. SZ also asks Tedder why he was not told of the visit of Dewdney's party to Paris to investigate the result of bombing of factories. Mentions Bottomley, Brant, and Drury.
