Papers 19-23 are drafts of the sub-committee’s interim report or sections of it. Paper 25 reports that the sub-committee’s remit is to be extended to operations in the Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, and the Far East, and papers 31-33 deal with the war in the Pacific and Far East. Papers 34-35 refer to the dissolution of the sub-committee. Correspondence in the sub-file includes SZ’s comments on the interim report and on a paper by I.G. de Teissier of the Air Ministry, Air attack on rail communications dating from March 1944, another copy of which is in File SZ/AEAF/1.
