The paper summarises a number of reports issued by SHAEF G-2 Division. The conclusion drawn is that the "difficulties which at present beset the German railways" are attributable to "air attacks on all types of railway targets in Western Germany, but especially by attacks rail centres and on locomotives and trains."

The paper is annotated by "ESDD" [E. S. Dru Drury] to the effect that a copy was sent to Wing Commander [Fiant] Yates to be sent on to SZ after reading, and that a second copy was placed in "File BAU/4/AIR". The annotation is dated 8/12/[44].
