Contains one item, a portfolio of four maps of varying scales, mounted on board and with overlays, showing the French coastal areas of the Cherbourg Peninsula - Bay of the Seine - Cap d’Antifer - Romillé - St Pierre - La Ferté - Brou and Bay of the Seine (Grande Rade - Le Havre) - St Sauveur-le-Pommeraye - Vire - Trun. The maps form two pairs; on the second pair the allied invasion beaches are indicated together with the positions of the assault forces offshore and the locations of air targets for the assault phase.
