"Bombast" compilation of targets

Contains two items, a schedule, codenamed "Bombast", dated 19.5.44, of targets allotted for possible attack by AEAF forces in support of the invasion and an amendment sheet, dated 27.5.44, listing additional targets in the category "Operational Training Targets". The target categories listed in "Bombast" were: V-weapon sites: coastal defences; airfields; rail centres; bridges; radar installations; special targets; and the aforementioned operational training targets. The "special targets" were: a loading point for mine-laying and tank landing craft at Dieppe; a "hut in center of aerial array" at Sortesville-en-Beaumont; a control station "of beam type ELEKTRA" at Morlaix/Plougervest; and a "hut in center of aerial array" at Lanmeur. "Bombast" is annotated "a copy of this should be available near the ‘Target Priorities’ book...T.L.M".
