Contains e-mail correspondence with Ken Worpole and drafts of RD’s articles for the online debating forum of contemporary ideas. RD is asked to write on the quantity and quality of open waters in Britain, and the forces which make them unavailable to swimmers. This resulted in the articles 'It will all Come Out in the Wash', and 'Towards Ennistone'. Other articles included are: 'Clean Up or Clear Out', (Eastern Europe’s environment), The Economist, 11/12/99; 'On the Edge', The Economist, 23/5/98; and 'Stockholm Woodland Cemetery', by Ken Worpole, 23/1/03.
