Scope and content
(Folder 1) Contains background papers and correspondence to the courses at Schumacher College, Dartington Hall. The college is an international centre for ecological studies. RD and Freya Matthews present 'Everyday Magic: Bringing the Landscape Alive', October 6-25, 2002.

(Folder 2) Contains print-outs of supportive teaching materials. These are mainly excerpts from Waterlog. Includes an article by Richard Mabey 'Living as if Nature Mattered', and excerpts from 'Waterlog' including 'Porges and the Slow-Worms'; 'Bicycles'; 'It Began in the Moat …'; 'Wild Swimming'; a review for the Guardian on Microcosmos; 'Streams of Consciousness – the Poetry of Rivers'; 'Crabwise Through Cromer', an article for the Telegraph; 'Maps of the Human Heart', for the Independent; Dartmoor; and miscellaneous poems.

(Folder 3) Contains stories, essays and poems submitted for a Dartington competition in 2001. One poem is entitled 'For the Love of Cornish Apples'.
