Scope and content
Contains a proposal for a theatre event to mark the 1st anniversary of the Great Storm, 1988. Refers to preparations for the opening of 'Pulp!' at an exhibition at the Cartoon Gallery. The exhibition included original cartoons and illustrations from 'Pulp!' the first newspaper devoted entirely to the trees that made it possible. A copy of 'Pulp!', Summer 1989 is included (Oversize).
Includes price lists for items from the travelling exhibition 'Out of the Wood', hosted by the Crafts Council and Common Ground; a newsletter on local trees from St George’s Neighbourhood Office, London; a journal article on 'The Green Man' in each of us, including 12 positive ways in which we can help to look after trees; and press releases.
Also includes 'Signals' a Channel 4 documentary, 1/11/89. This features the Prudential arts award scheme in which Common Ground was the winner of the visual arts category for the exhibition 'Out of the Wood' by Andy Goldsworthy.
