RD taught English at Diss Grammar School for three years (’74-’78).
Included are teaching materials: files of poetry, essay writing themes, reading lists, examination papers, lists of pupils’ names.
Other papers include those from an English marking seminar; an obituary of F.R. Leavis, literary critic; copies of Leavis’s article on Sir Charles Snow, Spectator, 9/3/62; copies of 'Costa Nostra', Diss Grammar School Magazine (a copy of the first issue, and 2 copies of issue 4); and a press-cutting showing RD & his son Rufus with a goat given to RD by the school pupils as a leaving gift.
