Kenneth Rowntree discusses further developments in organising an exhibition of war-time paintings at Leicester Galleries. Sir Kenneth Clark "offered to approach the Services about our permits". "At present our group consists of Paul Nash, John Nash, Edward Bawden, Eric Ravilious, John Aldridge, John Piper, Victor Passmore, Graham Sutherland, Graham Bell, Claude Rogers, [William] Coldstream and myself". Kenneth Rowntree thanks Jack Pritchard for offering to help acquire permits and invites him to Leicester Galleries where works by John Piper and John Armstrong are included in an exhibition
