Blake begins by referring to "a good party. I'm just wistfully envious of your social touch". The rest of the letter is his "formula" for the work of the Tec Plan Group. He proposes five sub-groups on "Balances... Controls... Policy... Theory and drafting... Correction of existing plans", giving objects and suggested memberships. If Jack Pritchard, who as chairman would "put in full-time work on all five groups" is agreeable to putting the formula to the Group, Blake assumes that he will "of course, not draft the members to their sub-groups like soviet timber-camp gangs". Blake does not consider "the hold-ups we have had" a cause for depression on the part of the Group, referring to "Keely's objections". A MS post-script refers to a letter from Maurice Dobb, which he forwards, that "got mixed up with my papers at the week-end".
