After hoping that "you and Claire got back all right on Friday night", Jack Pritchard writes that he wants to talk to Spicer "about the new developments in TEC PLAN. My general view is that Blake's suggestions... are the right ones". He adds that "curiously enough we have on out side, full of keenness and vigour, Sir Basil Blackett". Jack encloses a memorandum produced "in order to try and pull the thing together.... It is not really my work, but it may serve some purpose".
