Jack Pritchard invites the former members of the Tech Plan Group (Max Nicholson, Robert Spicer, A.E. Blake, N.J. Gordon Clark, N.E. Smith and John Lawrence) to dinner, believing that "Now the situation looks as if it is getting rather grave... it would be a good idea if we could try and get in touch with each other wherever we may be." Having re-read 'A View on Planning' he thinks that "with all its limitations it certainly does seem to help to keep one sane."
