Scope and content
Lindsay replies to Jack Pritchard's letter of 21/12/31 [PP/4/1/13/10]. He has had difficulty in amending the requested meeting with the PEP Finance Committee and suggests that he, Jack and [Geoffrey] Whiskard "might have a few words" when they are together for a joint meeting of the PEP Directorate and the TEC PLAN Group in the following Monday, consulting [Lawrence] Neal on the matter "at a convenient moment on Thursday 28th [at the Second PEP General Meeting?] the adds that he had supposed the account for the TEC PLAN Group's Second Interior Report already settled. Finally refering to circulation of as advance copy of Sir Basil [Blackett's] address to the General Meeting, he asks Jack to submit a rough outline of his own speech, other speaking having already done so. Lindsay believes that "Whiskard who follows you... and possibly one or two others" would find this helpful.
