Scope and content
Jack Pritchard thanks Huxley for sending him copies of `Essential New' quotations from Mr Justice Holmes and a cuttings from the Times, 18/1/33 by W.E.D. Allen. Jack is `rather doubtful about the value of "Essential News", as I think that one gets all the essential news from the `Manchester Guardian', and says that it is produced by Jonathan Griffin who `is getting all correspondence sent to H.G. Wells as a result of his `Society' articles in the `News Statesman & Nation'. Jack thinks that W.E.D. Allen should be contacted; he will talk to Max Nicholson. He is also interested in `what happened at the P.E.P. Annual General Meeting.'
