Postgate, R. W. recipient
Pritchard explains that as the last meeting of the Half Hundred Club did not include any guests he thought it the ideal place to discuss membership and rule-changes with the wider membership rather than restrict it to the committee. Postgate was informed of this intention by circular so he must not have read it. The idea of the new rule is not to try to get a person in who has been blackballed [Pritchard's nominee, Harry Ree, was blackballed].
