Harben apologises for his "officious and high-handed" letters to Fleetwood and Miriam Pritchard regarding reviving the Half Hundred Club but says his letters had to make the circumstances of the revival sound as tough as possible to deter the faint-hearted from getting involved in what will be "no picnic." Copies of the letter also circulated to Jack Pritchard and Raymond Postgate.
