Huxley, Julian
Huxley, Julian
Whipsnade Zoo
Pritchard, John Craven, recipient
If Pritchard had not already replied to [Julian] Huxley's letter [regarding holding a Half Hundred Club dinner at Whipsnade Zoo, by saying he would wait until after Huxley's sinus operation], Postgate would suggest dealing with [A.T.] Bert, [assistant curator]. As they already have Huxley's assent Bert would see it as an instruction and co-operate, whereas Huxley might come back feeling "not in the least inclined to feed a group of dull persons eccentric food."
