Harben notifies Postgate that the Half Hundred Club dinner has been cancelled due to a poor response. [Harben] claims the club's biggest problem is the lack of a suitable venue. His idea of having a dinner at an open-air theatre, watching a play at the same time, he claims, was a bad one, but re-starting the Half Hundred Club, also Harben's idea, was worse. Asks Postgate if he can arrange some introductions to French vineyards which Harben and his wife plan to visit.
