Gloag says [Noel] Carrington has a whole list of criticisms of the proofs of the "[Design and Industries Association Quarterly]".. Although most of the criticisms were constructive, Valentine and Grimmond are "absolutely livid" but even if it could have been altered, Gloag would not have consented "to please the personal taste of old-fashioned typographers". Gloag goes on to talk about [D.I.A.] lunchtime meetings and recommends Major Pilkington, Mr Taylor, and chances to speak about glass. Mentions [M.L.?] Anderson.
