Pheysey encloses a press cutting [PP/28/4/9] in response to Pritchard's letter [PP/28/4/7] and confirms that the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of Arts are to hold an exhibition of industrial design. Miss Pheysey is suprised because when she approached the R.A. two years before and suggested a joint industrial design and arts and crafts exhibition she was told the R.A. charter prohibited its showing of industrial art.
