To complement Anthony Bertram's series of lectures, the D.I.A. with the support of the B.B.C. will exhibit actual goods to illustrate the necessity of good design. The exhibition will tour 240 provincial towns with local retailers collaborating in each town. The publicity achieved should stimulate public interest in the manufacturers who contribute exhibits, and should offset the necessary expense incurred by the manufacturers who will subscribe towards the cost of staging the exhibitions. With correspondence and illustration of the travelling units to be used in the exhibition [PP/28/4/28-29].
