Pritchard, John Craven,

Pritchard refers to a number of organisations such as the Design and Industries Association, Royal Society of Arts, and the Institute of Industrial Art, which have done a great deal to further the case for good design and to liaise between manufacturers and designers. So rather than create another body with the same aims, it is thought an exhibition along the lines of the Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris or the Stockholm Exhibition might help the cause. Pritchard will keep Messrs Crabtree posted on developments but in the meantime he thinks it would be worthwhile for the firm to join th D.I.A. and will ask the secretary to forward details.
