Scope and content
Valentine believes it is a mistake to link the D.I.A.'s evening meetings with its more "serious activities", but he believes two of the suggested meetings will need a whole evening. [Frank] Pick has agreed that the first meeting will be about Russia. The second meeting will be about the Gorell Report and will be addressed by Hornby and Trethowen, two D.I.A. members who sat on the committee. Later meetings might include Sir Stephen Tallents as a speaker. Mentions Miss Pheysey.
