Regarding Jack Pritchard's lecture tour in the U.S.A., 1954. Discusses in detail the proposed subject of his Harvard University lecture and suggests that the Consumers' Union and the Consumers' Research Inc. might be interested in furniture performance tests and standards and the implications for designers and manufacturers. Details which aspects of the work of the Furniture Development Council he plans to discuss at a lecture he was invited to give by Professor Sigurd Johnson, Furniture Manufacturing and Management section of the North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering. Jack Pritchard was also arranging a lecture with Henry Kamphoefner of the North Carolina State College Design School. Annotated on recto [by Jack Pritchard] sending a copy of his Royal Society of Arts paper, dated 30/4/54.

Invites Thomas [Tomas Breuer] to England and informs Marcel that Jeremy [Pritchard] will be sailing his yacht down the French coast
