Shand, Philip Morton recipient
German and English texts. Gropius received Le Corbusier's contribution [testimonial for Morton Shand, for Chair at Birmingham University]. He will also ask Moholy-Nagy and [Sigfried] Giedion to supply testimonials. Gropius has heard nothing from Jack Pritchard, but [Maxwell] Fry's letters have clarified everything except accommodation. He is leaving for Rome on Wednesday
