Scope and content

Shand hopes to start Gropius' translation as soon as he has finished some other work. The length is now double what Faber & Faber expected, 20,000 words. Shand has been offered a Chair in Fine Arts at Birmingham University but he is reluctant to become an academic. He does, however, ask Gropius for a testimonial
