He tells Morton Shand not to be so hard on the 'Concrete Way' people and risk his position with them as a translator. Gropius is worried at having heard nothing from Maxwell Fry as he has begun arrangements to let his flat. He is concerned that his wish to go to a theatrical convention in Rome will clash with his visit to England. Can he start work in London on 20th October?
