Scope and content

Describes the Bauhaus-Archiv's negotiations in England to organise a Gropius exhibition. The Arts Council has declined but other contacts include Corin Hughes Stanton of the Council of Industrial Design and Design Magazine, Gordon Steele of The Building Centre Trust and Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museum.

Mrs Simmons describes the European tour of the Gropius exhibition and gives details of it. If negotiations with venues in France are successful the exhibition will not be available for staging in England until 1974. Two copies
