Ise Gropius is about to add photographs from 1910-1934 to the Exhibition because Berlin now want it to show the complete life-work [of Walter Gropius]. Several exhibitions [of Gropius and the Bauhaus] in Berlin are planned. Ise recalls the Gropiuses escape from Germany to England via the Theater Congress in Rome. Dino Alfieri tried to use the Gropiuses as propaganda. She also recalls a visit to the theatre and a visit to the Giedions in Switzerland.
