Pritchard, John Craven, recipient
Ise Gropius has been too busy, since Walter Gropius' death, to send the information on Gropius that Jack had requested. She refers to the Bauhaus Exhibition in Chicago, at which the dinners will now be memorials to Walter Gropius and Mies van der Rohe. She says Wingler's book on the Bauhaus is selling very well, now in its second edition. The Harvard School of Design fiesta has been postponed from November until at earliest February [1970]. Ise reports that her cellar is full of historians and TAC members going through Gropius' things. She asks Pritchard what kind of paper 'New Society' is - it had described Walter Gropius as a cold aloof person, which is not as Ise remembers him
