Thanks Jack Pritchard for the books he sent, especially the Laurie Lees. Describes the bad winter they are having. In February Walter Gropius will receive a doctorate from Chicago. The Gropiuses are to visit San Francisco in connection with a building for the Goethe Institute, then to Germany for opening of Bauhaus exhibition on May 4th. She asks about Pritchard's plans to resume manufacture of the Isokon Long Chair. Mentions the publicity for Walter in Germany over the Rosenthal Ceramics Factory, Selb. Walter's new book 'Apollo in the Democracy' will be published soon
