Pritchard, John Craven, recipient
A modified design of the Norfolk Broads cruiser is developed to cope with offshore cruising. Coates proposes that [Wingsail Ltd] would prepare a design which Pritchard would put into prototype construction. Fees and royalties would be payable and Pritchard would be given the exclusive rights for sale of `Wingsail' rigs and the `Wingsail Catamaran'. Competitive sailing trials with friends off the South Coast are expected. Coates proposes to approach a yacht yard to construct a vessel which would fly a 42 foot `Wingsail'. An explanation for the weight distribution of a 36 foot `Wingsail' is given. A revised Bermudian rig for the `26' is expected.
