Design: a monthly journal for manufacturers and designers
Pritchard, John Craven, recipient
Noel Florence has enquired about the sales potential of Marcel Breuer's long chair in the United States, as Stendig is the exclusive distributor for other Breuer furniture in the United States. Stendig believes the market would be very limited. Le Corbusier's better known chaise sells only 20 a year in the whole of the United States. Even so, Stendig would like details of assembly and cost having seen the long chair in "Design." Chris Heal or Breuer will be able to tell Pritchard about Stendig if Pritchard wants to know whom he is dealing with.
